Yes they have TFO fly rod and reels, cortland fly line, reels and rods, Janntzen executive class travel fly rods by backwoos premium rods, aspen fly reels, TFO BVK series fly reels
I don’t know if it just doesn’t work for me but the site is a pita. Tried to sign up and keeps running my in circles about points and not a great selection of gear. Also rediculous shipping fees added to “free” stuff.
We’re stuck between Barack and a hard place. Hide their food stamps under their working boots.
I am glad you like fishhound and that it is working out so well for you!! But… I have to agree with Sahunj80… I tried to register and got the same run around the web site and just quit. I tried a site like this before and even tho I “signed up” for trout fishing gear, I was in Colorado, all I ever received was spools of 30Lb test mono and 4/0 work hooks, they told me it doesn’t matter what I sign up for it’s what they have, then they wanted me to spend a LOT of money for shipping and handling… It sounds like it is working out for you pretty well though. it just seems too good to be true and there is always a catch and it looks to me like the shipping and the amount of gear interesting to me is not enough for me to spend the time. You bait chuckers and soft plastics guys my have better luck with this though…
I signed up Friday for the year membership and they are only showing I have 100 points, website promises 2000. I emailed customer service Saturday to find out why. I know it’s a holiday weekend so I’ll give them a couple days to respond/fix it. I will repost here as soon as I hear back from them. If it works it seems like a decent deal. If not I will file a claim with visa and get my money back.
I got burned by the “North American Hunting Club” a long time ago, where they promised free gear to review & keep, and I didn’t get squat. Lost that $40…never again.
It is working out good for me right now…i have received about 5 packs of lures, a waterproof fly box, and a TFO fly rod on the way and i have been a member a little over a month…$25 for shipping…not bad considering im getting a $250 fly rod to keep
I signed up for the $5 a month membership…i started with 100 points but i added the photos and report and entered the contests which we have won once which is how i got the Redington Surge Fly Reel for free…i have enough points by being active not from the yearly membership…sorry yall are having problems with it…i havent had not one problem with the site

Hey guys if anyone is having trouble with signing up please shoot me an email at alberto@fishhound.com or just give me a call at 818-435-7785 and I will make sure that you get your 2,000 points for signing up.
Hey guys, I posted my concern about not getting the points a few days ago. Last night I emailed Alberto and he took care of it for me. I now have enough points to get a TFO spinning rod. After paying for a year long membership and shipping, it will cost me a grand total of $65 bucks, it retails for $150. I love the local shops around here, but a deal is a deal.
I had my doubts about signing up, but they are gone. Great customer service.
I signed up for a year, and have I guess 130 bucks worth of points to play with (not sure about the 300 worth mentioned earlier). It looks like you can post reports and recipes and stuff to earn extra points (limit 2/day?). The hard part will be to wait until I have enough points to redeem a good fly rod…
Thanks again, and if you have any tips on earning more points, let us know.
