My dock float saved my boat from going under. Went to check on the boat and both batteries were dead. Put a new battery in and hit the bilge. Nothing. Opened up the stern hatch and water was even to the top.
Turns out I had pulled the boat up to far which created a lean from stern to bow. All that rain from the last month ran to the front of the boat and eventually leaked through the hatch. Bilge pump ran the batterys dead. Glad I opted for the dock.
Finally pulling the boat out this weekend to install lots of goodies next week. Lowrance HDS 8, new bilge, 3 bank charger, trolling motor, Side scan, Garmin 540S as backup, vhf, and custom tackle center for the console.
