Thanks for posts below..CH Report as promised.

Well, we didn’t exactly hammer 'em. We put in at Gill’s Point at 7:15 and didn’t boat a fish until 10:30-- a 6 pounder pulling in 17 feet around Russell’s Creek. Of course we stayed there another hour-and-a-half without another bite. After trying several different spots, we decided to move down river in search of clearer water. Finally parking on some 50 foot trees with 22 foot down rods, we finished up with 2 more keeper striper, one squealer, and a big gar near Murray Creek. Mudline extended from the dam to just below the Fish Bowl(Newford Creek) and cleared up very suddenly. We wish we had moved down sooner before the day got away from us.

I’m likely going hit Murray Wednesday, and Gary and I are fishing lower CH Friday. Will try to post about those outings later in the week.

Did you see they are opening all of the floodgates from Hartwell on down. I would think Clark hill getting all of that water will mess the fishing up. It should wash a lot of sediment out of the Savannah River though, so that should be good

Yep. We’re fishing the lower end this time. Hopefully, it will not be a problem. Gary took off work; so we’re still going.
