I bent the grab rail around the windshield on my console (don’t ask) and made a call to Happy Bob. He told to me to bring it by and he would see what he could do. Took it by last Friday morning and he was able to straighten it out with no problem. This was my first time meeting Bob, what a great guy. At first he would not let me pay him but finally accepted a nominal fee. If you have never been by his shop, go, he does absolutely beautiful work. He was working on a poling platform that was truly a work of art. I hope one day to have a boat that would be worthy of work as nice as his.

I am in the market for a small, about 14’, jon boat to fish creeks, flats and such. I’d like to put a small poling platform on it to get a bit higher and aide in spotting fish. Nothing extravagant, but functional. What would a poling platform like that cost to build? A ballpark estimate is fine. I don’t even have the boat yet. Lol.

I have said it before and will say it again. Bob is a gensius with a welder and tubing. I have seen a small bit of his work, but what I have seen sold me immediately. Just the laddrer rack or whatever you want to call it on his truck is a true piece of work. Rows of welded nickels everywhere. BEAUTIFUL!
