I was amazed that with over 1500 views only got 1 reply, that I was unable to contact. What bothered me the most was that not one comment or concerns for my partner. If you look at my inshore report posted today, you will see I have no problems catching fish or sharing how. I also have no problems catching shrumps. My freezer will be full before end of season. So in conclusion THANKS AGAIN ANYWAY!
I assumed you found some one, most people probably did. But people also dont shrimp like they use to.
Hey 40inchreds, I have no problem shrimping by myself, I did it for years before hooking up with my partner now. Tuesday doctor said he can shrimp or fish in 2 weeks if he feels up to it. I just think it is easier and safer with 2 people. I am 62 now and sure hope I can get another 20 years plus of fishing and shrimping.
Be careful what you ask for, you might just get it!
For the record, I’m just now seeing this post. Good to hear your partner will be back up and running soon. In the mean time, if I’m available, I would be happy to go out. I can throw and drive. I will PM you my number.
One Simple Thanks!!
I can throw net…VERY WELL (I have heavy 8’ pro net)…and I can drive…you ready?
Fishing on the bottom is like having sex with the lights turned off. It feels good… but I wanna see it.
Lights On!

I tried to get someone that could throw a net for half of the season two years ago, my old partner is out for the count from an accident injury. I got one response that actually could go, said he knew the area, had shrimped and could throw a net or drive… long story short, he lied and couldn’t do either… I did my best not to get pissed and haven’t been out since… he literally picked the net up and with both hands pitched it like you were throwing a handful of pine straw in a pile, had absolutely NO idea and evidently had never even seen it done by the way he threw it! so on to plan B, drive the boat, get me close to the poles… I never got close enough to any of the poles for the net to even reach them throwing as far as the rope would allow, because he was too scared to get close to them! Poles have been in the shop ever since, good luck!!
