Thanks for putting this together again Tim.
I had a good time as usual, even though I didn’t catch anything. It was nice to meet new people. It was also good to see old friends.

The same goes for us, Tim. We think these events are fun with just a hint of competition and you get to meet some nice folks. The dogs really hit the spot. Thanks for your hard work.
Thanks Tim for putting it all together and congrats to Team Lawcrusher! Hunter and I went back for more good fishing after lunch and caught several more keepers. I dare say we boated 60+ fish with 20-30 21" or better… Tomorrow they’re all keepers.
Yeah!!! Thanks for the effort Tim!. We had a great time. Sorry we had to leave earlier than expected but our kids returned from their little outings and were “hungry”.

WOW!!! Looks like a great time. I wish that I could have been there, but I am working night shift all this weekend. What’s the chances of doing this again later this summer?

Glad so many were able to make it this time. Like others have said, it was great to see old friends and meet a few new ones. That was a fun day for sure.
Congratz to the Lawcrushers (hate Liz couldn’t make it) and Rob Dzoba and crew who had all the winning fish between them with Rick’s daughter Erica taking 1st place adult and son RJ taking 2nd kids. Robs wife Carolyn took 2nd adult and Meagan, a friend of Rob’s daughter Katie, took 1st place kids.
Thanks! to everyone who helped with cooking, serving up the food and tearing down and loading my boat up.
The day was extra special for me since my DIL, both son’s and both grandsons were all there to fish and/or come to weigh in. I’m one lucky SOB. My DIL Sadie enjoyed it so much she wants to come out next time and get there a while before we come in and have all the food cooked and ready to eat when we get in! I’d say she’s a keeper…and not just from June 1 to Sept 30. LOL
Bob, thanks for the pics. I meant to remember to take some and think I actually got around to taking one.
Charles, I would think early fall is probably better. Between the heat of the summer days and 5 and done I don’t know that mid summer would be a good time. With that said, if there is enough interest, I would think a short nighttime tx would be fun…maybe a mid/late July Sat night from something like 6 - 11 PM. No need for the food and all that late, we could keep it simple and just fish and determine a place to meet up.
Maybe next time I wear a hat with a Go Pro on it so I can take some pics without having to put my beer down for the few seconds it takes to snap a pic… lol
Tim - as always had a great time with great people all doing something they all love to do …
I’ll post a report under a different thread - just haven’t slowed down long enough to get in front of a computer … It’s sad that I have to go to work to slow down long enough to type a few words (Ha - not likely) …
Anyway, it was great to be there and see everyone …
I have no problem with doing an evening TX - I’m sure that would make Liz very happy … LOL
Just a suggestion … Tim is NOT allowed to pick the day of the next TX … He ALWAYS seems to pick the worst weather days to have his TX’s … it’s like he misses fishing in New England so he has to bring their crappy weather down here to his TX’s … LOLOL

That would be fun, but I sure would enjoy the fellowship(I.E. having a couple of cold ones and meeting others), swapping fishing stories(I.E. telling lies about the ones that got away), catching a few fish(I.E. telling more lies about the ones that got away), and eating.

I agree with Bowhunter … maybe we can meet up on the lake before the TX for a bite to eat and then all take off at a predetermined time like the bass guys do … LOLOLOL
Then we all meet up when we’re done and (those of us who choose to) camp out in the island the rest of the night … Kids have been bugging me for a while now to do an overnight on the lake … either way works for us
That sounds good to me. I didn’t mean to sound like we should just meet to weigh in and go home…I just figured the part about hanging around afterwards for a few cold ones and telling fish stories was a given. I’d even be up for us grilling up a late night snack if people were willing to hang around…or like Rick suggested, maybe getting together before hand.
Either way would work for me.
Whatever is decided, just tell me what day since I’ve been banned from having any say on the date.

Hahahahaha … I can’t “ban” anyone from anything (well … except RJ & Erika … for now ) … and apologies for “insulting” you by the New England reference despite the fact that you’re from NY but you’ve been an SC resident for 20+ years now … LOL … Besides, you can’t tell me that I’m the first person to give you grief over the weather on your TX days … LOL
