Just wanted to give a big thank you to the people on here that answered my questions about kayaks, and that have added to the wealth of information on here.
After reading reviews and going to a demo on Thursday, I called Timeout and put a down payment on a Wilderness Ride 135 that I’m going to pick up once I get into Chuck. I feel like I lucked out, they had one of the Angler packaged ones in stock with a “cosmetic blemish” so I got a pretty sweat deal I think.
Pretty excited to get out there and maybe run into some of you on the water.
Thanks again for all the info on here!
Good luck and have fun, stay safe, and be sure to get all the safety equipment you need to avoid a nice ticket if DNR bothers you with a safety check
Bragging may not bring happiness,
but no man having caught a large fish,
goes home through the alley.

Congrats! That’s a popular yak… I guess you’ve seen Too Busy’s stand up vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzmcbuyXuWA&feature=youtu.be

I think the music starts whenever you stand up but I’m not sure how they do that…
Congrats on your new Ride!

By the way, does anyone know of a place around mt pleasant/iop/Sullivan’s to store a kayak? I’m doubting I’ll have room in my apt for it. Buddy said I could keep it at his place on James island but was hoping to find somewhere (boat storage, self storage, etc) to keep it closer to where I’m fishing at to save on gas and travel time. Thanks
