Hit Busy about 6:00 for some topwater action…wind was howling and conditions were ruff!!..the new moon is tomm night and the currents were ripping…Never seen the current rip the hard in the Cooper River…EVER!!!..the water was extreamly muddy and the water had trash(weeds) floating everywhere!!!..Lots of wind, muddy water, and ripping currents made for some tuff fishing conditions today…water temp was 61.8 degrees…fished last 2 hours of incoming and about an hour of outgoing…Managed 2 reds and 2 flounder…one flounder got off my line boatside as I went to grab the net and let slack in the line and he spit the hook…was the better flounder of the day…the flounder I got in the boat was only about 10 inches :smiley: …Both reds were upper slot fish!!..all fish caught on MM on carolina rig today!!!..All fish released!!

And, my friends showed up to wish me a Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Happy Turkey Day to you all!!..going to friends house to go eat!!! Going to hit the wando tomm…winds are supposed to be light and variable out of the NE @ 5kts tomm…Hopefully will have more luck then!!!

Looks a little airish out there. Good job on the reds. Hope to make it down Saturday. Wouldn’t mind picking up a nice flattie but all I ever seem to manage are 13".

Yeah D!!..it was “airish”…very windy and cold…but still a good morning on the water!!..Vinman and I are fishing on Saturday with another one of our Club members (Turtle 1) on this site…the 3 of us are going into Nowell and up the wando …I just hope the extream High (8.0) tide doesn’t mess up the fishing for saturday!!!..the tide in WAY up the wando near Paradise landing is going to be an 8.8 tide…The new moon is tomm night…And the currents are ripping right now makeing the water muddy too!!!..I think Vinman told me you have his cell number…give us a call and let us know how your doing…maybe we’ll meet up!!!

Sounds good. Not sure if we will hit the Wando or a spot I have been having some luck with kayaking. Tight lines!
