Had a rental house off the ICW from Sun-Wed and got in a good 2 1/2 days fishing. Had both my son’s flats boat as well as my CS and was able to get everyone out fishing who wanted to go and we had a blast. We’ve been doing this for years and fishing was about as good as I’ve seen.

…and the big kids even got a redfish quadruple

Most of the redfish and all of the flounder (5, small) were caught on MMs. Some of the trout were caught on MMs as well, but most were caught on 4" grubs. Son got a few trout on a flyrod as well.
Last half of falling tide and first half or rising tide was what seemed to work for us.
Awesome time. Were most fish caught on c-rigs or under a cork?

That’s great, glad y’all had a good time. We were down Wed. and today. Wednesday was beautiful but today, not so much.

Didn’t try c-rigs at all. On my boat we caught most fish on grubs. For the little bit we did use MMs , they were fished on 1/4 oz jig heads. The other boat fished MMs mostly and fished both jig heads and under a cork. They caught alot more redfish than us.
