still got cabin fever this weekend and headed offshore/nearshore for some fun with my friend JWS. (looking to do a lot more the next few months as there are few reasons to go offshore, move over spottail fisherman)

caught 26 by noon, kept 13 up to 9lbs. culled through a hundred bsb’s with the frist pt. of fiddlers before we got into them. will go again this weekend unless a tree falls down in the yard or something.

If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.

Nice Sheepies. And the wife should be really happy that you have cleared off the Honey Do list!

Did you use a fuel additive/treatment w this 10 percent ethanol? Just got a new boat and have been using it and am wondering if it works.

jimmyaadams, rig is 11yrs old and I had the carbs rebuilt this past july before heading to keywest. my motor man said he saw no sign of hose breakdown in the carbs. I pulled the boat out last weekend to wax and prep for the coming season and could not get fuel through the blub to the motor. removed the blub and looked up the hose towards the tank and the inside was full of flakes of varnish looking crap. glad the motor didn’t crank or all that would have gotten to the carbs floats and jets. I have always used stabell in the tank before storage but now will use with every fill up. Get a good price at Fleetpride by the case. 747-1547, ask for Mike and tell him Blue Mule sent you!

If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.
