The 5th Annual Heroes on the Water Tounrey

We are still VERY light on donations for prizes and t-shirts. Time out is going to help sponsor the t-shirts, and if we can get enough sponsors for the t-shirts we are looking at a technical tee this year instead of cotton. The sooner I can get the sponsors for the t-shirts the better.

Thanks Elgeebee

Looking forward to it!

Let’s have a good local turnout for this tournament…

You guys should advertise on the air base and navy base. I’m sure a call to the recreation center would be all that it takes. Maybe bring in a printed sheet of the details and people would follow up. Just a thought.

Hey Scott,

I work on the navy base so if you send me the flyer I will drop it off at the rec center and post it up in our squadron. I can also drop one off at the air base rec center. My email is al8995@aol.com.

Thanks,
Alan

Ken,
Haven’t been on the forums much lately, so sorry for the late response. I am all in. I’ll donate $50 of lures and such for the raffle at the Capt’s meeting. Send me a text as to what you’d like me to get.

We are closing on a new home on the 18th, but might try to get up there for the event.

Tried dropping off the flyer at the recreation center but both are closed to the govt shutdown :frowning:

Any word on the weigh in time? I was just checking the tides and trying to decide where to fish.

If two wrongs don’t make a right, try three.

Right now it will be between 2pm and 5pm at the Wild Wing cafe in Mt P on Coleman.

Bump… getting closer… If we can get 50 paid entries we have someone who will pay for a Kayak to be given away as first place for the tourney… Spread the word and C’Mon out!

I’ve been trying to put the word out on base but people aren’t responding unfortunately.

The Weigh in will be at the SAME LOCATION on Saturday from 2-5pm… we probably have to be cleared out by 6 at the latest though…
