Shea,
I could not find anything on Pawleys either related to Hammerhead. Hopefully Palmetto will send some info or PM him.
Holler if I can help in any way.

I’m going back… wayyyyy back for this one boys.
Found a J14 with a 2001 four-stroke yamaha tiller, trailer for $2800, so before I go buying the wrong boat for the THIRD time…
Would a J14 tiller be a pretty good gigging boat?
If you don’t have far to run and there is NO chop, yes. If you need to cross the sounds with decent wind you will not appreciate that boat.
That’s my 2c, and before I get blasted, I do not mean to offend anyone in any way.

I have a 16 cs that is rigged for flats fishing. Poling plat, new trolling motor, jackplate. The whole deal. Ill let it go for 5800

Tarpon- Yea it would be for gigging and gigging only. I don’t think I’m interested in getting my teeth knocked out. I did enough of that growing up =) OH! so I don’t have to revive a dead thread about me selling my Sailfish, I’ll try to address your question here. That white T-top net didn’t look that complicated to make. Just buy some heavy duty screening, cut it to the size you need with about a 2" overlap. Fold the extra over, sew it on a line, get some stainless tarp rivets, and string it on. Then, slice an opening for the zipper, sew/iron on a zipper. Easy stuff, man.
Coosa- That’s probably a good deal man and I appreciate the offer, however I am seriously just trying to literally buy myself some time while I contemplate a big purchase. I go back and forth on several different models of 2013/14 Bay Boats and while I do so… the itch to get on the water still resides. Just looking to throw a couple grand at something to basically ‘rent’ some aqua-time while I make a decision on a boat. Thanks again, though! Sounds pretty BA.

That boat would be fine for gigging. You know it will beat your teeth out when it’s rough, but you can’t gig when it’s rough anyway, even a ripple messes up your vision through the water.
The price sounds a little high. Offer 2200
