If you can’t fix it with a hammer, you’ve got an electrical problem.

It would be nice if Yamaha and/or other manufacturers would advertise “maximum ethanol usage” on all outboards.</font id=“blue”>

The F250 today is the same.
If you can’t fix it with a hammer, you’ve got an electrical problem.
New F250 is 558pounds Old is 604pounds
New F300 is 558pounds Old is 804pounds
V8 F350 weighs 804pounds as well
So if the new F300 weighs 558 with 300hp the horse power to weight ratio is 54%. The V8 F350 at 804pounds has a ratio of 43.5%.
So a boat with twin F350s has 700hp and 1608pounds of motor. Tripple new F300s has 900hp and weights 1674pounds. So 66 pounds for an additional 200hp. I am guessing yamaha will have to juice up the V8 or I bet the F300 is going to majorly cannibalize its market.
Also I am guessing most boats will perform better with the lighter twin F300s than the heavy F350s.
The verado 300 weighs 635. As long as they don’t have any HPDI sytle issues I see this as being the next big thing is 4 stroke technology. Now wonder what it will cost???
