The Battle of the Bay

Saturday was the last day I would be able to shrimp with bait, but after Friday I really wanted to just watch Clemson continue to walk through the door of greatness. However, my 8 year old talked me into going with him with a small craft advisory and northeast winds 15-20 mph. No big deal with my 14 ft. Jon boat. I would just have to use a 6 ft net. We set up at 8, and by 11:30 I had it figured out, and we couldn’t fit another shrimp in the cooler. The shrimp were big and thick. What a way to end the season. My boy toughed out the cold, and the wind as he told me to keep shrimping til we filled the cooler.#9786;I hope everyone had a great season, and be safe til next year.

You’ll have a partner for life there! Congrats!

Awesome. I have a die hard 8 year old also. Favorite fishing partner no doubt. Great report good looking shrimp. We barely beat dark Sat ourselves and ended with 3/4 in 2 1/2 hours. He was saying man that net is crowded
