Hit the river for the first time this year and the water was COLD. Caught 3 rainbows around 13-14" range, all very thick. Hooked up with another that looked to go about 17-18". Felt like I was pulling on a log. He came up and rolled once and was gone. Didn’t break the tippet, just gone. Walking out with numb legs was a real challenge.
