The Bite is really fun

I was able to fish with some friends Friday and Saturday morning. The trout weren’t as aggressive on artificials as the last time I got out. Friday we got around 30 trout with only one on a grub. Saturday morning we got over 20 trout, 6 reds, and a nice flounder, all from the same spot. I caught 2 trout on a paddletail grub. The biggest trout of the day was on a grub, 21". I tried Doa’s, TT’s, and the grub. All the trout are really solid fish. With over 50 trout in 2 days not one was undersized. Average was around 17"

Very nice!

I may not be a smart man, but I know a butt wipe when I see one

Thanks! We blasted them yesterday too. 3 of us got over 30 from 16" to 19" in just a couple of hours. I got around 10 on a paddletail while my friends were using shrimp. We had a few doubles and one triple. One of my buddies was all hungover and only fished a little while. When he stopped fishing I used his rod with bait and got 3 on 3 casts in a row, twice! We missed a bunch too. If I have time next week I’m thinking it’s perfect to pull out the fly rod.

Good work! It’s a great time of year for catching

These reports are killing me!!! I’m probably not going to make it back down to the salt until the first week of December.
