the day after friday is looking good

dont wanna spoil it by naming the day but its looking smooth!
dolphin are gonna die!

Yeah, looks great. Y’all put way too much faith in a forecast. Just like Scoutin’ the other day. Trying to beat a bad weather front by a few hours. Weren’t there some idiots a few years back that got a trip to Bermuda out of such foolhardiness? Along with other idiots that same day who were lucky to make it back to CHS.

There were a couple guys years ago that ran out of two stroke oil in a storm and got picked up by a cruise ship off of Charleston. I don’t think the forecast area you picked is indicative of where most people fish. The 20-60nm forecast area is a much smaller area and actually much closer of a forecast area to where people fish. If your really worried about it I would suggest learning how to read the weather models. There’s really very few models that almost every forecast is based off of.

Its still too early. Its Wednesday. A lot can change by this day you speak of. Especially with bad weather fronts on both sides of said forecast. With that said I hope you are right

I’m pulling my boat down from the NC/VA border going back home to the Georgetown area for the weekend. Hoping to catch a window of opportunity.

Looks decent to me. Planning on going if its holds. You sit around waiting on a perfect day around here and your only gonna go one or two times.

That’s what gets people in trouble. I want to go like everyone else but safety first. Not worth it for a couple fish . Saturday is a sketchy window

Report sure doesn’t look good to me. I’ll have to settle for a booze cruise inland.

Being superstitious is bad luck.

Ha!!!!!

No, the story is that never happened!! Best part about that is that he dropped anchor in the storm and went back several days later to look for it and the boat was still afloat… Stinky rotten dolphin in the fish box, but everything was still there.

Good times

Anyone else trying to hit the “window”?

Reefcast showing it starting to blow up around lunch on Saturday.

Better be in a sporty for that ride home. I’m dying to get out but I hate taking a beating.

saturday is a no go in boats under 35 ft

Thats too bad. I really wanted to go out to at least the near shore reefs. Friday looks reasonable early in the morning. Im going to try and get out early and see if I can get in before the front settles in.
