Heading out saturday for first time this year to do some bottom fishing and maybe trolling around y73 and comanche. Also got the numbers for the gardens but dont really know how far out that is can anyone give me some info?
Caught most of our fish trolling on a rip in 125’ last week. Wasn’t crap going on out deeper. Every day is different though.

The Gardens as I know them are pretty close to Y-73, slightly north of a direct line from the end of jetties to the Y-73 reef. Never really had great luck there, but I think “The Gardens” is more of a big general area and you have to search around a bit to find the good bottom (unless you have better numbers than I do, which is entirely possible!)
Always caught plenty of B-liners, triggers, porgy, and other stuff around Y-73. Some of the structure definitely seems to hold more/different fish than others, so try a few spots. Never got my stuff together to try trolling around there before I left Charleston.
