Well, sorry for the wait. Pulled off the dock right on time after a good dinner with the family. Started to worry about the sea state going out Tybee roads as we took some spray from some steep close swells, but the worry was soon put to rest the further off shore we got. Pulled up to our south numbers at Hoyt hills at 11:30 with a nice moon. Fished till day light with only three sharks for the night, no swords. Very hard to pull up to a new spot in the middle of the night and try and find a rip or upwelling to fish. That being said, the same went for the yellow fin. Did not find them either. Ran around out there for a while looking for something to fish, finally found a weed line and worked that, pulling a few nice dolphin off of it. The rest of the morning we fished the weed line all the way inshore to 1600 feet pulling big dolphin off it. That one had come apart by now so i see a wreck on the chart and started to troll to it. Once on the wreck or close to it we see more weeds. This is were the fun starts. We hook up to three or four big bulls and get them to the boat quick and the whole school comes with them. Rods go in the holder with the fish on the end to hold the school. Out come the spinning gear and light tackle, fly rod snapped on the way out or we would of played with that. We pulled 10 or 15 big fish out of the school in a half hour or so from a dead boat. We had all the fun we could handle so now it was time to clean up and point the nose of the boat to the island.
While the boys were getting things put away and cleaning I put out a few lures and teasers to try for a blue. We trolled for a little while and I see a blue shower some bait off the starboard bow. Did a quick circle around it and nothing, so back to my heading. Five minuets later a blue crashes a halloween mold craft and we are hooked up. The fight was quick and and she was tagged a released in good health.
The sea state was flat after about 9 in the morning but at night we had 8 foot swells at 10 or 12 seconds. There we
good job on the blue.
Everybodys going to start going there now. Great report Tram!! The yellow fin are all over the bouy on the other side of the strem off Daytona Beach. I havent herad of any size yet mostly 25 to 50 pounders. But all the boats that are going out there are coming back with the fish boxes full and fish all over the deck!!! Talk to yall soon.
Would ya’ll mind puttin my 23 up on the bow for the next trip? We could just push it over when we got there. It’s okay, I have Sea-Tow and three flares.
Just kidding, great trip! You have eggbag most men never thought possible! What equipment are you running?

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.
