The last 4 days

I’m down in isle op palms with my family for vacation from union,sc and me and my dad brought the little 14 ft skiff he got me for my birthday this year(I’m 17) and wanted to do some fishing. We kept the boat at isle of palms marina and put in there whenever we went out. We fished for about 3 hours Monday and caught one little redfish about 10 inches and a stingray and 6 little sharks. We fished Tuesday for about 4 hours and caught 12 small reds and a saltwater catfish. We fished about 2 hours Wednesday and caught a black drum and had something big break off not long after it hooked up so we never saw what it was. Today we fished about 2 and a half hours and my dad had a nice redfish that was probably over slot and it flipped around at the boat about 3 feet away and came off We saw one feeding on an oyster bed but couldn’t get it to bite. I’m usually a bass fisherman but love the salt water, just wish it wasn’t 3 hours away. Thanks to people on here for guidance on how to fish!

Yeah, sounds like some good days in the water. I have had more than my share where I didn’t even get a bite.
