Left out from the JIYC at 330am and had a fairly good ride out to a spot Phin recomended to me trolled along the ledge in 73 deg water had lines in a little before 7 and picked up 2 right off the bat ended up with 7 dolphin and a wahoo with 2 nice bulls biggest around 35lbs had several short strikes and we lost a wahoo at the boat due to a bad gaffing job by me, I’m still pissed about that one. The ride back sucked seas kicked up pretty good about 6-8 and we got real beat up but it was worth it (i guess). I knew it was going to be rough but my buddy had come in from ATL just to fish so I decied to go anyways next time I might rethink that becasue I’m still sore today

I would love to have the boat you have, and I have to say I’ve gone out in the same kind of stuff for similar reasons in similar sized if not the same model boat. Every boat ends up small out there if you think about it.
However, going on enough days like Saturday will eventually lessen your itch for getting out there when you know it won’t be calm. It’ll also make you appreciate curtains!
