The Masters

Get ready for an odor like you have never experienced, IF they haven’t changed the mulch that they Put down when the course is wet it’s something you won’t forget.

Down here is where a signature goes but they can confuse and anger some people so I don’t have one.

No azaleas, no DJ, odorous mulch. Starting to think I should stay home and watch it on the flat screen.

Memory of a lifetime. My son was wide eyed for 12+ hours straight. Never complained about the 12+ miles we hiked and loves the game even more now.

The course was amazing, looked artificial, the staff was impressive, the greens had mounds and undulations that you never see on TV. The clubhouse was timeless, and my son even spotted Arnold Palmers jacket in a special case they put out this year. The wine cellar was really cool. Got to get a picture in front of the Eisenhower table, and touch a $4k bottle of wine.

Can’t wait to go back again.

Oh, the tournament. Highlights were:

My son getting a high five from Jordan as he came off the #5 green.
Watching Phil hit driver out of the rough on #8 as his wife Amy and two daughters stood beside us on the ropes.
Sitting greenside and watching them battle it out twice on 18.

Unbelievable experience!

That’s awesome, was hoping for an update. I was hoping your son was the one that got Kuchar’s signed ball…That was great.

Cool trip, awesome fun for your son!

I’ve made it to several Tuesday practice rounds, including this year. Definitely 16 is the place to hang on those days, they do the trick shot off of the water. This year had a lot more bleachers, which seems like it would make it easier but it really was much more of a pain to be in that area long. Sitting in the bleachers is super boring unless someone is in playing in front of you on the course. If it is warm on the course, it can get hot in the bleachers.
