The Mullet Run Has Begun

I made it out to the inlets around ten just in time for the last of the out going tide and to my surprise a full-fledged air show, (tarpon mixed in with the sharks and dolphin), had begun. It took two casts of the net to catch 40 mullet. No silver slime on the boat, but plenty of action for me to go home semi-satified. Catchn 5ft black tips one after the other and two at a time can only be so fun for so long:stuck_out_tongue:
Then i slipped into the hightide marsh for some tailing reds and it was on. I went six for seven and the first one I landed was a tagged 8 pounder. It was also nice to use the same mud minna for the first three fish and i maybe picked up my push pole one time to situate, they were comin to me!

Any more poon sightings??

Which Inlets?

Seen thousands in the Stono inlet.

A wise man once said ā€œDo as I say not as I doā€ Good advice when I tell you that.

Dewees is where i started and stopped, but it was like glass so i ran all the way up to bulls, seeing plenty of action the whole way.
