The New Barton and Burwell

i dont know how many of you are aware but barton and burwell in mt pleasant has moved. they are in the same complex but the new building is about quadruple the size of the old one. they have added a tremendous amount of new inventory and the way the store is laid out makes everything easy to find. fishing, hunting, firearms, and archery have all expanded. i believe the indoor archery range is longer now too.

they also told me that they will be opening @ 5:00am on the weekends to sell live bait. the new building’s parking lot has an easy pull through for trailerable boats.

that will get them traffic, at least me on saturdays when it’s high tide at 7.

i think the new weekend times start next weekend.

it’s 5am on Saturday and 8am on Sunday.
They were offering minnows, worms and fiddlers for live bait today.

Yes I do think they service reels.

I dropped a reel off on Sat. and they fix rods as ell.

It’s about time, that other store was way to small and didn’t have very much. Glad they did that.
