the rest of the story

I left out the good part. the hatch for the battery in the stern of the boat is gone sot there is a 9x12 opening there. i forgot about it until i looked and saw that the water was up to the top of the deck and the stern getting very low in the water. (all of the lapping of the waves as we backed up). anyway; even with two big boys up front it would just bog but we made it to bull island and the bilge pumped out about half until it gave up. that put the boat back on basic plane. then i saw that the livewell cover was the same size so i put it on the back hatch. son and his buddy were a little nervous for a while but i kinda thought it humorous for later conversations. no harm; no foul. the seapro held its own.

Glad you are OK - Love those SeaPros

You gotta love the South Carolina Lowcountry.

Bobby, looks like you need to refresh the duct tape scuppers.

Wellcraft V-20 sportfish with a 200 Evinrude

tom; it was not the scuppers. it was the 9x12 open hatch where the battery is right in front of the motor. got that covered now but it was kinda funny to me. not so much for jeremy and his buddy travis.
