The skinnee for 08-24-2013

Thought it might be fun to fish in Charleston. You guys always talk about how difficult it is, so I bought a maps unique, and plugged in the numbers to the Charleston 60 to see for myself.

We killed some fish… We couldn’t find any ringtails or barracuda, so we killed some big ugly ones instead. Some of them had really big mouths. Also, acquired 4 raffle tickets to a YETI cooler…

It didn’t seem that hard. I think next time, we are going to check out the nearshore reef to save some gas…

Almost forgot… The feds buzzed over in a predator drone while we were cleaning fish (in my salmon colored polo and skinnee jeans) and I shot it down…

My phone never rang…

Jokes on you though, I got the best ringtail spot on the east coast.

Welcome back! I must not have that Maps Unique number. I need to get from you. Those hogs are mighty shallow to be at the Chs 60.

We dove yesterday. We must have gone too deep compared to you. Congrats!

Thanks for your first report in 12334 posts!!! I love your buddies shirt in pic 5. Hope to read many more.

Nice Sea Bass !!

Those hogs are awesome!

Being superstitious is bad luck.

Don’t try the nearshore. Ain’t a legal fish in sight

Awesome.
The kids sure are growing up fast!!

Very nice! Which edition of Maps Unique did you use? I gotta get one:sunglasses::stuck_out_tongue:

I thought you lived in south Florida? Welcome to South Carolina, if you thought the maps unique chart worked well pick up a hotspots chart from Walmart.

I just moved up here. People kept getting mad at me down there, because I would out fish them all the time, and their girlfriends kept looking at me and winking and smiling. Not only that, but they don't have a Bojangles down there. I think I will be much happier here now. Lot's of new people that I can out fish up this way. I'm already sharpening up my treble hooks for my next trip out.

I knew I made the right decision last week when I bought a Murrells Inlet Maps Unique!

Good job, Jason. Nice haul of fish/bugs. Glad to see you back in the Lowcountry.

Nobody likes a show-off. Unless they got to go fishing with that show-off.
