Ocean was nice today. No diving, just fishing with my neighbor and a crew they put together. All green crew. To make a long story short, we got 3 nice gags on rod and reel and about 15 red snapper with the largest around 17-18#. Caught the usual suspects: white grunts, BSB, trigzillas, red porgy, vermillion, etc. Everyone had a blast with a box full of fish. Also lost a daymaker fish that I fought on light tackle for about half hour before he straightened the hook. Fish stayed about 15 feet below the surface and ran straight out from the boat a couple hundred yards.
Oh yeah, Y-73 was red hot.
My apologies to all of the losers that had to work today!!!

And I thought it was all fished out. Bet it’s a parking lot with this report today. All those fish come off the tug or the tanker?

Bronze whaler shark. They are typically deeper this time of year but due to the climate change they are coming in shallower chasing the spawning rudder fish.
Would have been a day maker for sure!
Set the trap boys, we going to pass through them again!!
