But the highlight of the day was that I broke ANOTHER TACO outrigger (That’s 3 poles in 5 years) on the first fish of the day. I had an extra one and we spent 20 minutes rigging the backup offshore. Got a new pole in and were back in action.

Skinnee, I know that you covered this in another post but since you mention the broken Taco you should try the Rupp’s I have the 18 foot version and they have held up very well for a number of years.

Negative. I had to replace one a year or so ago and had to buy them in a pair. So, I slapped the two new ones on there and put the older, unbroken one in the boat.
