A few hillbillies on CF.com suggested that I should post about my miserable hateful life and even change the name of my boat to “Hate and Discontent” to better illustrate my sorrows, so I guess this is a good time…
The chatter and comments do seem kind of harsh, but I don’t think you can really blame the guy. Suppose you had a pants wearing wife that dragged you to a place where you didn’t speak the primary language and all you could do is look at pictures of people slaying fish on your good GPS numbers back in SC. I’m sure you’d have a lot of hate and discontent built up too…

been there and done that! left in 72 having been born and raised there, wouldn’t go back except to pass through on my way to key west. as with most young transplants and after some glitz and glamour you will yearn to be back in gods country, hillbilly,(grasshopper) trust me on this one!

Yep. Charleston has a great fishery. Figured that I would take advantage of other opportunities while I am down here though. There are a few things down here that you just can't do back home, so it makes life more interesting. Not staying here, just on a 2 year paid vacation.
