A little ways past where 41 ends on 17 heading north. Gadsenville road. There will be a brown sign indicating Copahee access on the right.

Have fun,

When putting in at the Copahee Access off of 17 N in Mt Pleasant, In order to access the ICW, stay to the left all the way. As you are leaving, there will be a “Plat” of trees on your left. MAKE A MENTAL NOTE OF THESE!!! When returning to the ramp, these trees will be where you need to make a right as you return to your car. If you do not make this mental note, it will be very possible to spend several hours trying to find the returning creek. There are numerous small little creeks, and they all look the same. I hope this helps!

Thanks everyone! I live on James Island (really!), so you probably won’t see me over there much. But every once in a while it’s fun to go somewhere new.

Again, thanks very much!

I live on JI and copahee is mainly the only place I fish.

SHHHHH!!!

My bad!

you don’t see us mt p guys fishin in JI

stay on your side of the bridge:stuck_out_tongue:

how about those seminoles:roll_eyes:

sure miss the 90’s

If you try JI you might catch more fish.

Since I’m a N Chuck guy and have to drive, can I fish wherever I want?

My favorites in no particular order are:
Ralston Creek, Stono near Elliott Cut, ICW behind SI, and Copahee.

the 'Ville is a big place… almost too big

Not much bro', haven't seen you in a long time. Been hittin the Stono pretty hard w/ Jordan the past couple of months with mostly good results. Caught quite a few reds over 28" in a 1/2 mile strech of water. I'm gettin fat and lazy w/o the 2 mile paddle up the Wando against the tide.:face_with_head_bandage: Still don't get to fish as much as I want

You ready to show me the ropes up at the 'ville? I can swing up that way Saturday. Should be nice. warm, high tide after lunch so the sun can warm things up a bit.

Hey all. Maybe its just me but I’m guessing the window for the water to stay high around that access ramp isn’t very long? Also, anyone run into getting ticketed for parking on the side of the road?
