the wall and coal tressel

Had a great day with 3 hardcore fishermen- everyone catching fish. Plenty of bait with the castnet and more than enough fiddlers on drum island. All caught sheepshead for dinner except me. I had a few come up to the top, but couldn’t seal the deal:face_with_head_bandage: The important thing is… I caught the biggest fish:smiley:
Not sure the total count for the other guys, but I ended with 15" trout, sm blk bass, 27" red, 17" red.
Lots of fun guys and appreciate the company.

I ended up with a lizardfish, two pinfish, an oyster toadfish, and two sheepies that accompanied me home. The bigger of the convicts was right around two lbs.

I would have liked to stick around a bit more, but I was pushing into the honey-do time back at home. I had a great time!

I enjoyed fishing with y’all… John, Ron, and Cut today, until next time!
Saw Ron get his first sheep in a yak and Cut catch a red that didn’t want to give up! I got two sheeps, one dink red to the boat and lost a spanish.

Good job guys, sorry I missed it. Would have rather been fishing with ya’ll than doing the wedding.

Eagles may soar, but weasels never get sucked into jet air intakes

When are yall going again? I have never fished there before and would like to try it.

Amen Fishless… Work has been sucking the life out of me and making it dang difficult to get time to fish…

Great pics. I have been wondering for a while what’s the easiest way to get there? Any help on directions to the nearest launch?

I’d only confuse you, but find out how to get to the Cooper river marina from the old navy base entrance. Then about half mile before there, there are a few parking spaces on left side. It’s a tough lauch point, especially at lowtide.
