I’m heading out to the Wando River next Monday,I have never fished past the Wando bridge. Are you guys catching anything in particular ? just trying to figure out what species I should be tackling.I Want to fish for sheephead and black drum, are there any docks I should avoid ? I’m usually fishing the cooper where you can’t fish the docks ( Goverment rule)

Fishing has been very good up that way. Reds,trout, and flounder.

I do not fish docks but many do with some luck.

Mullet has been thick and shrimp is also avail up that way.

I have had very good luck with mud m under a rattle cork.

Docks on the Cooper? You talking about the Navy docks?

Yes the navy docks, the only structure on the cooper i’m aware of that you can fish around is the Coal Docks and i’ve heard rumours that property was sold and they’re going to build a resturant with a dock there.
