The wife wants to go fishing!!!!

My wife told me this afternoon that she’d like to go fishing with me tomorrow morning. I about choked on my beer!! With her, I know it won’t be too early, but I’m going to try and be on the lake by 8-8:30. I would really like her to catch her first striper and my luck hasn’t been that great lately. Any suggestions on where to fish? I’m not looking for your secret spots(unless you want to PM me:smiley:).
Thanks for any and all help.

I didn’t see any kind of trick on her part, but it wasn’t near as peaceful and quiet as I’m used to:wink:. And I thought I had bad luck when I fish alone. I’ve never had so many lines tangle, bottom hang-ups and lost rigs. Plus no fish on top of that.
We were on the water by 7:00, put in at the dam. Fished the cove near Jakes, then slowly made our way around to and along the dam, back to the ramp. Made a couple of circles around the towers on the way. Marked a few fish but no bites. It was a nice morning, The wind started picking up around 9:30.

Next time, just me and my dog Pork Chop.
