I guess I cant figure out how someone would trespass and seriously risk getting shot over a camera?
I have been buying mine in pairs. One to watch the trail, and one to hide real good where I can catch any Ahole that dares to steal my cam. Worth every penny.

Pungo 120If you’ve got a one way in and out area, pick a spot that’s not close to your stand or corn pile. Get a tall ladder and put a cam up high. Most people are looking for trail cams near chest level and not expecting them up high. Sometimes trying to out smart a thief can be as fun as hunting.

Had a case two years ago where a coon hunter was tresspassing. Tried catching him in act for about two weeks and couldn’t. Put up signs and they were torn down. He was driving through same place on my land so I decided to fix a board with nails. Nothing felt better than to go by 2 mornings later and see his truck with 4 flat tires. Bad part is once I tried talking to him he cathces attitude. Some people just dont care and have no respect.
Call DNR and enroll your property into the Property Watch Program.

I had someone come around two padlocked gates and steal a bottom plow. A week later they came and took a scaffire plow. I put signs on our gates and around our tractor shed that say “warning, area under video surveillance”. Filed police report due to other activity in our area with other property owners. Hope these help some.
Sorry to hear about that. Our best success with trespassing has been to meet and work with the neighboring property owners. I have stopped one group and my neighbors have stopped people multiple times that were attempting to dump trash on our property.
