We moved here 2 years ago (military)and between deployments and buying a house I finally bought an older McKee craft and got it set up for fishing. We were in Florida at one point and used to fish out of a 19’ Cape Horn in the gulf. Little bit different ball game here. I’ve been lurking on this site even before I moved here and have learned allot from y’all. Thanks. Anyway, my son and I are heading out for our first fishing trip this weekend and it wont be long we hope to be posting pics in the off/inshore report section. See you out there and give me a hollar!

Hey there Old Bull. Saw you guys this morning at the Sunoco. We were the smaller, 22’, less impressive boat a few gas pumps over! Hope you guys had a great morning. We just did the inshore thing with a few trout pulled into the boat. I too am in the military, and not the “sea-going” type.
Thank for the ■■■■■■■■ guys, mitchellf550, 22’ she does good But i haven’t really had time to get any numbers. She will go thru the 130 gallon tank fast if you run hard and far. Sirecks, get out of here, I thought your Sea Pro was quite impressive! We went out to the Y73 reef and did okay with a couple of Kings, sharks and a huge sucker fish that looked like a cobia till I got close enough to stick it. Never saw any Mahi. Did see that deck boat out there tearing it up on bottom fishing. Saw lots of flyng fish on the ruff ride in. It’s good to know bait is plentiful and no problem to net out by the beaches. I think Charleston is going to be fish haven!
We saw you last night watching the Tall Ships. We were in a yellow scout leaving the maritime center as you were passing by. Pretty cool sight to see those old ships leaving the harbor and passing by fort sumpter.
We saw you too. Those scouts are sure nice boats. Yeah, it was like stepping back in time for sure. We followed them out to the end of the jetties hoping they’d drop all sails but it didn’t happen.
