one of the two buoys on the lock side of the dam, but they moved the wrong one. The one that is closest to the doors is the one that was drug by a barge and should have been moved back. Worse yet, they placed the buoy farther away from the wall. I think they will probably move the other one way out also to keep us âterroristsâ further awayâŚ
They are a bunch of idiots. Yes, I am talking about anyone reading this that has had anything to do with the stupid rules regarding the banning of us fisherterroristmen fishing around the dam, including SLED, Homeland Security, etcâŚ
If you donât like being called an idiot, stop acting like one and get over yourself! Blowing up our dam would be very easy and require little planning IMO. If someone or some group was planning on doing something, there would be nothing anyone could do to stop them, especially if they were already on the water, either on the lake side or down on the canal.
Sorry for the rant, but it burns me up when I think about itâŚ

Maybe if you stopped wearing a turbin and claiming jihad against the guards they would let you in. You probably should stop yelling Alalalalalalalalalalalalalalala (arab yell).

Lynn , i meant to ask you what they said at the â â â â the night we were out and you were nice enough to go over and have a discussion
with them, guards and i assume sled . Your nicer than me i would be more inclined to continue along and ignore them until they either swam out to me or got a boat and that said boat needs to be faster than mine⌠We were not trolling inside the bouys so what is the issue. If the bouy was in the wrong spot thats not our issue its theres. I went to all the trouble of getting the bait permit last year and still didnât matter cause if you are bait fishing you donât use poles huh , guess they never heard of sabiki rigs. Anyway i agree with ya and was just thinking a bigger incident might shine some light on this absurdity. In my younger and crazier days i might just be the guy for that job heheheh. Maybe we should just be civilized and call the paper to do and article about it. The funniest thing is the big sign on the lock side it says " keep boats outside the bouys except during lock operations" So in other words donât come close enough to destroy the dam until we open the locks for ya Have a nice day.
Common sense these days is not very common!

The guard was saying that I couldnât troll close to the wall. She said that the buoy was moved, and that I needed to stay out further as if the buoy was still there. I told her that I was following the orders on the sign and that I was doing no wrong. She got her boss to come out there to straighten me out. He was yelling at me to stop and come to him immediately. I told him no way, that I was trolling, and that I was tired of being bothered when I was not doing anything wrong. He called a SLED agent out. The SLED agent arrived and was very polite and asked me if I could please come over to talk. When I went over to him, he said he was very sorry for holding me up and that it was perfectly legal the way that I was trolling. Of course, he could have told me that while I was trolling by, but he was very nice, so I didnât mind. I told him that I was tired of being yelled at by the guards and other agents when I have done nothing wrong. He said that he was working on that. Anyway, that was about it. Yeah, if I was single with 0 kids, I might push the envelope a bit more myself.
