Fished just around 226 in 700ft yesterday. Found a nice rip with weeds and trash galore. Water temp was only 70.4 on the break but there were plenty of dolphin. The fish were startegically positioned on a two mile stretch between a nerf football and an old television set. Best part of the day was never seeing another boat. We kept 8 to start the season and missed twice that many. No wahoo No blackfins but I’d rather have the dolphin anyway. A great day to start the season. They are out there, go catch em. Did catch a some albies too. Saw a few dozen Makos yesterday and a huge hammer head. No huge bulls were caught. Saw lots of dolphin before noon that were nice sized but the fish wouldnt start bighting good till midday. Went thru alot of baits yesterday.
. Also saw a couple hundred flyers through out the day. Every fish had an empty stomach when we cleaned them, that seemed strange to me.

We saw a crap load of makos , more then I have ever seen, they were all finning on the surface past the ledge. saw one come completely out the water eating something. My buddy Kyle may have some pics. I was more concerned with fishing then photography:smiley:
