The last to planned trips out the seas werent favorable for my size boat. Saturday turned out to be the day. Hit some numbers in 100+ feet. Dropped the anchor and hit the spot 1st time:smiley: which never happens to me. Before we had the first rod out of the holder a school of peanut dolphins shoued up and left just as fast[. Ended the day with a 3 man limit of b-liners 6 large BSB and 35 ish triggers. The day ended with the seas laied down and gave us a smoth ride home.
A wise man once said āDo as I say not as I doā Good advice when I tell you that.
I can clean trigger faster than skinny BSB/vermillion all day
Agreed, Iāll take 100 triggers over the same in sea bass or vermillion any day. If you donāt have an electric knife, there is a soft spot right behind the pectoral fin you can use to start your first cut. Then turn your blade and cut from the inside out towards the top of the head. Turn your knife again and come down the top of the fish doing the same thing (blade inside skin cutting out. You can then separate the top corner of skin above the eye, get a good grip and rip.
Do not tell fish stories where the people know you; but particularly, donāt tell them where they know the fish.
