I remember skineej threatened to post the coordinates of area 51 if they ever ruled to ban fishing at area 51 so that people could have their way with the spot before it is closed forever. Ahhh found the quote below:

I fish those areas often, or at least I used to. We found them while cruising around a long time ago. There is always a lot of surface action, so the spot was an easy find. I figured it was just old junk from the dumping ground.

I’ll miss fishing there. I just don’t see how announcing the location and closing it will make such a difference. I’ve never met another boat on either of those spots.

It won’t make a hill of beans difference in terms of the amount of fish offshore. The only difference is that the powers that be are now emboldened and will use their pseudoscience to accomplish more power grabs and continue dismantling of our way of life.

Does anyone have a link to the maps of these areas. The link listed has a map but it is very fuzzy. Is I really starting in 70 ft of water south of the charleston 60 reef??? This is terrible. Do they hate us or what???
