It was a beautiful morning which greeted us with a ton of fish in too-tall grass. We only had a couple of legitimate shots which resulted in uno pescado. If most of the grass wasn’t almost waist high it would have been a seriously epic day.
Pillage and plunder with a 9wt and a fist full of clousers.
I had the same thing happen to me last night, tons of fish but all in thick grass.

The Pic turned out great! Taking a weed eater to that flat sounds better and better. Landed a 25" fish today, but just could not find them in the same numbers as last time. Back at it in the AM.

Very nice picture. Jerms, we’ll have to go throw the longrod when u get back home again. Jerms stays on the road! Saw lots of fish in the usual spots this am. Went and caught one of the juvies and tha was it for me. Water came in fast and deep and I didn’t get a lot of chances.
When this wind dies down we can do something.
