Both of you are now banned from fishing…
I just did the dance to shake their jinx, hopefully it will work.
I knocked on wood as I was typing the first post.

I can’t fish fri or saturday anyways and sunday (my free day) too windy too early- water so cold right now so unless something changes not worth going- i trolled ledge last friday and had 63 degrees on ledge and had to go to 1000ft to get 70- water hasn’t changed much and cold wind keeping that warm water deep so keep that in mind before you go run 210 miles like i did and use alot of gas
I just want to get there and play with the new sounder, fishing would be a bonus…
Beenwaiting for a good water temp shot, too many clouds lately.
I keep debating whether or not I want to burn a tank of gas IF (and that’s a big if) the weather holds. Talked to some people from last wknd…one boat did well, two others didn’t catch crap.
FishnBarrels ya’ll have any knockdowns?

looking at the SSTs it appears the waters have cooled in the area of the 226 and 380 holes, even in the last couple of days…also wondering if worth the trip out there to stare at each other…

(() these N winds, weather bouy was showing 62 degree water,(() thats cold.
looks like the winds dont get a southern flow till late fri…this could be a long lonely boat ride to the other side of nowhere.
It does look cold…

Do any of ya’ll use Google Earth with the SST overlay? Mine quit working…

No bouy weather and hotspot for water temp right now…
my Google Earth with SST overlay quit as well…now just go here: http://marine.rutgers.edu/mrs/sat_data/?product=sst®ion=georgia¬humbs=0
check the warm waters today versus a week ago…ouch…
I little tougher to scout smaller pockets of warmer water, but at least they have lat/lon lines so you can gauge distance…

Say I want to go mess around in the 10-20 mile range is there anything fun to catch off the troll this time of year. I don’t even want to mess with BSB. I want to try a few new rigs and just practice layout and spread since I am still new to the game. I am rarely in charleston when there is a nice weather forecast.

Trolling i would say no,unless it is a lost pelagic…its really cold still…
Here is the shot I got today from Rip Charts. Waypoint in green in middle is Edisto Banks…
Not liking what Sailflow is showing for sat PM…
Breadandbobbers no knockdowns- it was very nasty on way out in dark and the some of crew was puking and others misprepared and were wet and we started trolling later than i wanted - other boat near us had a little tunny - water was very cold from wind and mixed cold water eddy- all this weather we’ve been having is keeping all the good water and fish 90 miles south of us
I knew the forecast would fall apart…
