What happened to your boat Chip?
nothing just trying to team up with someone, learn some new things you know. i really need someone to sit down with me and a murry map and let me label all the “nickname” spots on the lake. i got a pretty good idea of some of the places but unsure on some of them. i think i was in crystal lake when they were schooling the other day but not for sure then had some other people told me they were thick in about 50’ but used a nickname spot and was unsure of the location. got a saltwater tourney/shrimping trip planned this weekend so i may end up going this week solo or just wait till next week.
i’m fairly new to the lake, but i know a couple nicknames from talking with others.
the big pool - the area from spence islands to the dam
big gap and little gap - these are the two way into crystal lake (i think)
crystal lake - this is the area of the lake on the east side of state park

the elbow is from ramp 3 past buffalo creek.i don’t know much about the lake past dreher island.i don’t fish that way much.i can help you out from dreher to the upper part of the lake.
phishinphan the catfish are in the same spots as last year.around the house with all the glass,where i gave you the jigging spoons.

You know fall is coming when sharky shows back up on the striper board. Little gap is the entrance to crystal lake and big gap is off the point of dreher. it is the entrance to the upper lake. Macedonia chuch is west across from Dreher. Twin Islands are the islands just north of Shull. The condos are between 18mile and spence. Yacht cove is right across from the launch at the dam.
phishinphan that sounds good to me.tom i’ve been keeping up with everything.i just got the boat out last week.it hasn’t been run since last year.getting it cleaned up and ready.i haven’t fished the lake since march.
all i have to do now is stay within the curfew and not talk about fishing 100% of the time and i might get a few passes now and then.

oh sure they missed you sharky; why i even had a wart on my right thumb for almost three years and thenm had it cut off. hell; i missed it for almost 4 days.
good luck getting him out with you guys. i am still living on promises of two years. maybe it could be just me.
anyway; sharky; hope that your back and all of your ailments are o.k. now. we do need to hit the shrimp hole in bulls bay. give me a call. i have everything including a full tank on the old wreck waiting.

…I like to fish from my yak mostly but would be interested in chipping in on some bait and gas $ to check out different areas of the lake

i’m not sure how much i’ll be fishing the next few months with the new addition, but we can probably work something out MF. we typically fish evening/nights but my boat will fish 3 comfortably.
