Yeah I would shoot it. But I would rather have the classic rifle version.
It’s a 9# pistol in 308. It’s not like it’s going to kick like a 500 SW. The 308 has remarkable range. Not sure I would waste it in heavy pistol like that.
That gun in 7.62x39 or 556 would be better.

I have handled this weapon a few time. It is a very nice gun and will eat any ammo you throw at it. I would recommend you get a folding stock for it. You get get mods done to get a retractible one, but I found that the retractible stock causes jams due to having to modify the recoil rod. If you have the money have fun with it for sure.

Also a judge and this gun are like comparing apples to moon rocks.
A 308 in a small pistol that has 20 rounds flying at over 2500 fps, vs a 5 round 45 colt at 1000 fps. Yeah, no contest.

Friend of mine has a job with PTR and owns a PTR91KPF in .308. Absolutely willing to fire it and have fired it. Flawless, I just can’t justify the expense or need of another rifle.
The Judge comment was a throw back reference to the hotly debated topic of the effectiveness of said weapon a few years back.

Personally, I have a Sig 556 short-barrel rifle. The rise on just a 5.56 is enough… And it is a piston gun. I can’t imagine much other than fun factor with this gun. Looks fun, just not my cup of tea.
