Three Generations and A Good Time

The weather was beautiful Sunday morning as we approached the first spot. Pulled up and before I could even put the push pole in the mud we spooked a small school of reds. Figured the bite would be okay and hopefully pull a few out but didn’t know it would be as good as it was… Managed to catch fifteen reds between four and nine pounds before the guys wanted to move to go try and catch a trout. We had thrown live shrimp and minnows under a cork and that seemed to do the trick. We fished the last hour of the outgoing and the first two of the incoming. I threw a topwater plug just to see if I couldn’t stir something up and had a few “soft” hits and just got the guys to cast bait in the same area to seconds later hook up with nice reds! Later on in the tide we caught a nice trout on live shrimp and I hooked a nice red on a Mirrodine suspending bait in the black and orange color. Bite is definitely on and the weather is finally nice!! Call me if you have questions or want to book a trip…
