Thriller 12/30 (clarendon boys and phin see gags)

We rode in Partsman’s 27T Contender yesterday out to one of my G3,6,9 top secret double blindfolded stealth mode radar jammed cornhole proof holes. Caught some Florida Boy Bass for a while before Partsman and Pallet went down there to rape and pillage. It was not that sort of day though. It was very calm, and the visability was a bit too good to sneak up on the gags as there was just a 4-5’ ledge and only sand around it. The gags stayed mostly just out of range for them, but they did get one @ 10lbs. Partsman also shot one of the many large sheepsheads down there. It was over 10lbs easy. JJ and I kept catching a few knotheads and C bass while the divers switched tanks. Pallet came back and slung a 21" C bass into the basket though. It was at that time I realized that my role was to merely aid and assist all efforts by others that day. I cannot hang with a 21" C bass…
On to the next spot, and they came up with two 15-18lb gags. The vis allowed them to get closer to them now. Heard all sorts of stories about missing the big ones, gun malfunctioning, Biggest gags they’ve ever seen underwater, Needed to go back down, etc. etc. etc. So we stayed there long enough to get them back down safely again when the dive tables said they’d be okay. Got in several hours late, but all was well. Ran in at 45kts with a few more nice gags.

Enjoyed it y’all. Look forward to next time.

They are diving tables? sounds like someone needs to upgrade a little.

I thought spearfishing was just about getting down to the bottom and picking out the one that looks best like a thanksgiving turkey in a pen!

Dive tables sounds better than algorithm!

Now come on Phin… Did you really try to catch one or did you just piss around with the rod and reel while the divers were down? Be careful how you answer or you might admit to not being able to catch one on rod and reel while on top of hundreds of them…
