Throttle won't stay put

Maybe this is normal and nothing but one thing I’ve noticed on the new rig is my throttle control won’t stay put. MEaning, if I take it to WOT, if I don’t keep my hand on it, the handle slowly backs off. Even at half throttle, if I don’t hold it in place, it will slowly back down.

Is this something I should get looked at or is it normal? I’m about to take her in for her 20 hour servicing so if it’s something I need to look at, that would probably be a good time.

There is a tension adjustment screw that needs to be tightened. Nothing to it.

Is the adjustment screw on the throttle control itself or somewhere on the throttle cable?

Sorry, not eager to blindly jump into turning this and poking that on the new rig just yet. Lol!!

Thanks CL!!

It’s in the throttle box. Watch the video Doug posted above. Most are similar, if not identical.
