If you can get in far enough to just start the washers & nuts, a ratchet with an extension might work. You will have to work blind, so be prepared to drop nuts and washers into the never see again areas of the boat. Have an extra socket & extension handy(cheap Wal Mart or Harbor Freight stuff), because those can get lost too. Make sure to tie a string to the ratchet and tie it to your wrist, so you don’t lose that. Be prepared to be in uncomfortable positions during the installation process.
Find a tall, lanky kid to help you out for a few bucks or free fishing trip.
Take your boat to Chris V. and let him do it.
If you were closer to Columbia, I’d give it a shot.

Doing good Trey. How are you doing? I had to close my shop by I-26 back in '09 when the economy took a crap. I’m working 2nd shift at Harsco Rail and doing some small aluminum side jobs, when I can get them, out of my garage in Red Bank(Lexington).

I would be interested in knowing what ladder you chose. I have a 2003 SeaFox 215 Bay that needs a swim ladder. I haven’t found one that looks to be a good fit. I thought about seeing if Bob could build me something (I live in Lexington), but just don’t want to spend a ton of $$$.
My mother in law picked up the ladder at the local Sea Fox dealer. She and the wife wanted it more than I did…hence the xmas present last year. I may be older but I can still pull myself over the side from the water with my massive upper body strength…LOL. I’ll let you know how it goes. I may go over to Auto Zone and take advantage of their loan a tool program and get a whole bunch of long ratchets.
