Got out about 2 hours into the incoming tide. Fished shrimp under a cork and mullet both under a cork and a Carolina rig on the bottom.
Fished a creek mouth with an oyster point off the main river, fished the upcurrent side and that spot produced consistent action of reds 12"-28", some small trout and a bunch of ladyfish (which I don’t care about but my wife had fun fighting them because they pull pretty good, jump, etc).
Was a little surprised that I wasn’t able to net more shrimp than I did. Granted, I got on the water a little later than I would have preferred but thought I’d still be able to load up pretty good. I had to work for what I was able to net.
