Left the dock with the Lawcrushers at 7PM and lines in the water about 7:05 lol. Anchored in 52’ most of the time until the wind shifted and swung us into about 40’. Didn’t mark a ton of fish, but when we did see them come through we would catch one or 2. Mostly a few cranks off the bottom. Turned out to be a fun short trip with 5 keepers and 5 shorts by 9PM and back home on the couch just before for the top of the 3rd.
Tried something last night and took some video with the phone…Mrs Lawcrusher doing the catching and little RJ as net boy.
Enjoyed your video. What a blast it must be fishing with and catching with the family. I see we will have some more fisherman and women for years to come.
Need to meet up on the water soon.
Nice video. Where did you get the glove? I often suffer from “striper thumb”.
A friend of mine left them with me, but I’m pretty sure I’ve seen them at Sportsmans Warehouse.
Also, with short fish, or even small keepers, they allow me to get a good enough grip on the fish in the water that I can reach down over the side and pin them against the side of the boat and pull the hook without ever having to bring the fish in the boat.
I need to start doing that more. I don’t do it as much as I should.

Speaking of fishing with family…I never got an offshore report from the week you guys spent down at Edisto. What’s up with that?
Shoot me an email.
Sounds like Rob has been going down to his place quite a bit, but they just fish the creeks.

pattianne; you can get those gloves and others like it at harbor freight for a fraction of the cost at other stores. they have a nice selection. i have a couple pair of the blue ones with the rubber in the hands area. they work well for a lot of tasks. good luck and tight lines.
