Fished creeks around IOP . Did well on the trout both days on Incoming tide. 5" albino and opening night Bass Assassins were the ticket. Biggest fish 19". Here for another week. What will the low temps next week do to the bite? Thx

I can do that, thx. Had a great day today with the exception of almost getting T Boned by three guys in a bass boat. Today I stated t figure out the reds with the help of a good dropping tide and the decision to work the corners at the ICW. Beached the yak and waxed the trout, picked up some small reds. Came back on the turn of the incoming and nailed trout and reds for a solid hour. I’m going to bring the fly rod out when the blow dies in a couple days. I understand the structure and tides and patterns much better now. Love this style of fishing. You are lucky to live here
thanks yea i love it on the island its awesome… were you paddling up morgan creek today in that solid wind… i was suposed to head out today but with the wind howling and the temps in the upper 40’s… i couldnt do it picked up 7 nice trout though today
No that was not me. Took a day off and did some stuff with my wife. I can’t deal with wind, it’s no fun for me to battle it at my age. Nice job on your shore caught trout. Wind looks good for Wed - Sat, not horrible tomorrow. I head home Sunday so I’ll put in as much time on the water as possible. May see u out there.
